BrightOsayi-Samuel has joined Championship side Birmingham City on a threeyear deal, signing in early July after his contract with Fenerbahçe expired. The 27 year old Nigerian international becomes the clubs fourth summer acquisition following Demarai Gray, Tommy Doyle and James Beadle, as Birmingham prepare for life back in Englands second tier.

A versatile presence on the right flank, Osayi-Samuel made 178 appearances during four and a half years at Fenerbahçe, contributing seven goals and fifteen assists while helping them secure European qualification. He revealed that discussions had also been held with clubs such as Beşiktaş and Premier League teams, but he chose Birmingham for their vision and ambition.
